Maria had been running around the mall for hours without finding those pretty little pink Manolo Blahnik slippers she was after. She prayed to the gods of shopping that she would be delivered from this designer deserted hell. Jerry and Gordon sure hoped that the sign they sent her was big enough for her to see.

When god outsourced the after-death collection of souls to the Insurance Industry, the archangel Azrael was made redundant. Finding new employment wasn’t easy for him. Eventually he found a new job working for Adecco Personnel Services. Minimum wage, no health benefits and constantly changing workplaces. It wasn’t brilliant, but it was better than starving. Secretly he was hoping that the insurance companies would mess it up and god would bring him back on the job one day.

Shopping - Race to the Checkout

Nearly missed this one. I had a hell of a time pulling the camera out of the bag when I saw these guys come down the aisle at the supermarket. Just about made it in time. Luckily the camera was set to continuous shooting. I got one good picture out of the lot. I guess my panning skills still need to improve. My heart was pumping with adrenaline afterwards. Wonderful sport!
